The Other Room

Seasonal Cocktail Menu: Summer 2025

The Other Room is a cozy, pre-prohibition-style cocktail bar located in Lincoln, Nebraska's popular Haymarket District. The upscale, speakeasy-esque bar releases a seasonal menu of original, house-made drinks every three months or so in addition to their capabilities in crafting top-notch classics year-round. The wide variety of cocktails and mocktails created by the Other Room team allows our creative design muscles to flex when we dream up how we'll create images with accurate drink color, garnishes, fire accents or anything else they concoct into corresponding illustrations for each drink. Pages feature hand-drawn illustrations of each cocktail paired with a flavor profile provided by the creators, all situated within a custom leather book format.

Over the last few years, we've designed various layouts, formats and even label designs for The Other Room (even before our work under the Paper Pretzel name). We've had the privilege of drawing up over 100 of their house cocktails, a badge we wear proudly. And still, every time we get a glimpse at the upcoming seasonal menus, we're even more excited than the last time to deliver brand new pages. It's the kind of work that never gets old!
